About

Amanda Slee

Hi! I am Amanda Slee. I was born on August 5, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am attending Arizona State University in which I am studying to become a broadcast journalist for a news station. My future goal is to be an on-site reporter getting the dirty information and observing the action firsthand. In high school I was on the staff for my school’s newspaper for two years and on the morning news staff for one year. So far in college I have made the dean’s list for one full year. I have also been initiated into the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. I am loving all the fun I have had and relationships I have made.

When I’m not working on school or having fun with my sorority sisters, I like to spend time with friends or even pick my camera up and do photography. I have been a photographer for about four years now. I create photos to capture different moments so that I can preserve a memory and show the world a different view on the subject. To me, my photography is a way of giving a different perspective to convey my vision.  Lastly, what I love about photography is that I can capture the unexpected and between luck and skill I get that perfect image. Also, I love the thrill of hearing people rave about my work.

On another note, one of my favorite things to do when I have long breaks is to travel to a different country and sometimes I even take the opportunity to do photography while I’m there. Adding to that, I have been to five different countries. I hope you enjoy viewing my work and feel free to contact me.
